The preservation of biodiversity is not at all a luxury. In many developing countries, the reduction in caused by conversion primary forest to unsustainable agricultural landscapes has increased. Agroforestry provided habitat for various species wildlife and had significant social environmental advantages. However, there lack knowledge on significance agroforestry management conservation woody species. review’s main goal emphasize socioeconomic Ethiopia most common practices are typically carried out different parts country homegardens, crops, woodlots, coffee farms. typical utilized southern Cordia africana, Millettia ferruginea, Erythrina brucei, Olea capensis. Ethiopia’s northern region, you can find Croton macrostachyus, Vernonia amygdalina, Faidherbia albida, Acacia nilotica, seyal, Grewia bicolor. central highlands also have Albizia gummifera, Ficus vasta, amygdalina. improves environment system producing tree products such as timber, firewood, food, building materials (reduce soil erosion, increase moisture fertility, shade, keep microclimate balance). Woody managed through pollarding, thinning, pruning.
